I continue to have my mind boggled by #ChatGPT. I asked it to write a version of Space Invaders that would run in the browser. It ended up a bit more like Centipede than #SpaceInvaders but the fact that I got this far with zero coding on my part is just astounding.

I can't decide if this is fun and worth developing further or if I should just toss it on my pile of half-baked vibe-coded ideas. It's a game about a man who was bitten by a radioactive pac and now he has the proportionate strength and agility of a pac. That's right, he’s the amazing pac-man.

@afeinman@wandering.shop That's not expected behavior. Are you in “zoomed-in" mode or normal mode? In zoomed-in mode there's an automatic pan that lasts about 180ms, which might feel longer. And if you're swapping out an existing letter, there's a letter-swap animation that might add a feeling of lag. And if you have word-highlighting on, there may be something else going on.
