"The scientific process is slow and careful and it often takes months or years to publish a peer-reviewed result. Companies like SpaceX have stated repeatedly that their method is to “move fast and break things.” They are now close to breaking the atmosphere, the night sky and anything on the ground or in space that their satellites and rockets fall on or crash into."

Random Sunday thought
I really, really like to create stuff:
stories and audiobooks,
paintings and collages,
poems and blog posts.
Who knew?
"Gen. Thomas-Alexandre Dumas was one of the heroes of the French Revolution — but you won't find a statue of him in Paris today.
He led armies of thousands in triumph through treacherous territory, from the snows of the Alps to the sands of Egypt, and his true life stories inspired his son, Alexandre Dumas, to write The Count of Monte Cristo...
How did the son of a Haitian slave and a French nobleman become Napoleon's leading swordsman..."

"Due to years of imprisonment, I had come to understand that the medical neglect was not an accident, but a deliberate strategy to silently eliminate opposition. Authoritarian regimes do not always need an executioner’s rope. Sometimes, they simply wait for the human body to fail – and then make sure no help arrives, or they create conditions in which death can come easily"

"Aviv Tatarsky, a senior researcher at Ir Amim, a group advocating for an equitably shared Jerusalem, says al-Bustan encapsulates the erasure of Palestinians from both geography and history."

Es hätte ihr noch gefehlt, dass er ihr irgendetwas über den Kopf schluckt.
