imp >:D

@actuallyautistic@a.gup.pe there's no real purpose to the vent- but I'm yelling into the void hoping to find others with similar lived experiences

@pathfinder@beige.party @actuallyautistic@a.gup.pe I thought I was the only one who bumped into immovable objects all the time (its street poles for me, and anything below knee level). Strangely enough I'm quite effective on moving around on a skateboard. When it comes to the humor- I get that, mine tends to be quite bubbly and optimistic with a lingering sense of dread. It works with my friends (who I'm grateful for), but most people can't look past the surface and they default to approaching me as a child :')

Setting up an RSS reader was one of the first steps that genuinely helped me break away. The next was Note Taking. I'll forever be grateful for @noboilerplate@namtao.com for putting me onto Obsidian...my second brain. Learning how to actually work with my tools, while having grace for myself was the final step. As someone who has grown up with incredibly high expectations from their black parents, this was definitely the biggest hurdle. Anyway, I hope your night is lovely ~

@VulcanTourist@autistics.life @pathfinder@beige.party @actuallyautistic@a.gup.pe ahahaha that sounds like good animation reference material 😭. Apologies to your friend
