Hellooo

I'm ilja!

I believe in a world of cooperation rather than competition. One of my current personal projects in life is to lessen my dependence on for-profit companies, and rather join non-profits and coops. I consider the world of free software and free culture an important part of this more cooperative world I long for.

I created the following bots:
@citizen_initiative_bot@ilja.space
@elixirjobs@ilja.space

If you like free culture and movies, check out https://movielounge.ilja.space I made! And if it's something you want to help grow, let me know! You can also follow along on @movielounge@ilja.space <3

Other cool projects I'd like to share are #Yunohost, #UbuntuTouch and #MapComplete. Check 'em out!

Trans rights are human rights

queer rights are human rights

And it's sad that over half a century after the Stonewall uprising, we still have to remember people of that.

@linuxlads@fosstodon.org omg, i decided to listen now bc several people had been pointing out potential editing issues at the end, and i wanted to know what they were talking about (yesyes, fomo much), and omg, i love it :blobfoxlaughsweat: it gives me this "everyone has opinions on this, but it's subjective and doesn't matter in the end" vibe, and i absolutely love it and think it's very fitting :blobfoxlaugh:

@_elena what attracted me most is that you showed an enthousiasm of fedi, and actually went deeper in when people mentioned things. When people mentioned friendica, you didn't ignore it, you went in to explore it. It's maybe sad to say, but that's actually a refreshing change from what we often see. And ofc, I suspect that mentioning on fedi that you want to learn about floss and linux, and then actually go for it, is kind of an "engagement" cheat code :blobfoxlaughsweat:
