I made the mistake of needing to buy groceries during the #RoncesvallesPolishFestival I love my neighbourhood but man, I just about needed a machete to cut through the crowd to get to the store! 😅

@evan@cosocial.ca @_followback Hey Evan. Done! I posted a photo after following, and used two hashtags. Less than a minute later, I got notifications that it had been boosted, once per hashtag. Each boost was from an account corresponding to one hashtag I'd used. That seems like the expected behaviour, but I figured I'd let you know what it did in case something seems amiss. Cheers!

..2/2 I also think about the people whose ancestors were here long before there was a Canada, and whose relationship to "Canadian-ness," if that's a thing, is complicated. That's less awesome. As I reflect on my country and my values, I realize that I love this place. Not for what it has given me. Not for what it has achieved, but for what it CAN achieve. Let's use this moment to choose to make Canada the best version of itself that it can be. For all of us. #CanadaDay
