I feel like the whole idea of VTuber agencies goes against the spirit of internet video content. The appeal of YouTube/NicoNico is that random normal people can make things they are really passionate about and speak their mind freely. If I wanted content made by big studios with management and PR, I would just watch regular TV
The funniest thing about the Win32 API is CreateFile3. They already made a CreateFile2 to replace the original CreateFileA/CreateFileW but somehow that was not sufficient for Microsoft

Personally it would feel like a huge waste of time and money, I absolutely despise waiting at the hair salon and a decent haircut is like 15€ these days

When I see somebody pull crap like this, usually I end up right behind them at the very next traffic light anyway, so they saved MAYBE 10 seconds at best. Well done.

Disassembling it all the way down to the BIOS chip seems extremely tedious, the Libreboot guide has images that look like they were taken with a Gameboy Camera and there's like 50 differently sized screws. I'm worried I won't be able to put it back together

maybe kind of a hot take but: mobility as a service/carsharing is just as much of a scam as SaaS. everybody should be able to afford a bicycle/motorcycle/automobile/etc that they actually own and can also repair themselves. we should invest in better public transportation but there are also emergency situations (natural disasters, etc.) where public transportation cannot operate at full capacity

@niconiconi@mk.absturztau.be Frankly, I think bootloaders are largely unnecessary in the UEFI era, I don't have a bootloader at all on my main PC so I don't see the point in a bootloader distro.
It seems like the UEFI spec allows for HTTP boot, although it's a question how many firmware vendors actually support it
