I’m reminded of the lyrics of Laurie Anderson’s “O Superman”:
'Cause when love is gone
There's always justice
And when justice is gone
There's always force
And when force is gone
There's always Mom
Hi, Mom
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah-ah
So hold me, Mom
In your long arms
So hold me, Mom
In your long arms
In your automatic arms
Your electronic arms
In your arms
So hold me, Mom
In your long arms
Your petrochemical arms
Your military arms
In your electronic arms

@anirvan I also wonder how much of this content is a self-deportation-encouraging psyop. I don’t use that word lightly, having been involved in the Information Technology, War, and Peace Project at Brown a couple decades ago which examined misinformation, disinformation, and psychological operations.
Was listening to Daydream by Adam Torres today and realized the song felt like it was cut from the same cloth as Talk Talk’s Spirit of Eden. I really like his vocals. #music https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yOGq1DEVKQk&list=RDyOGq1DEVKQk&start_radio=1&pp=ygUURGF5ZHJlYW0gYWRhbSB0b3JyZXOgBwHSBwkJ2QoBhyohjO8%3D
@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social this is hilarious and if it had alt text I’d boost it.
