Just switched a four-year-old project with more than 1.000 #PHPUnit feature tests to parallel test execution with a decrease in execution time from nine to less than two minutes. Not entirely without friction, but worth the effort. Learned a lot about garbage collection and memory leaks, things, you usually neglect in your daily work.

TYPO3 hat einige Besonderheiten, die den Einstieg ins Testing erschweren. Ein Selbststudium kann da frustrieren. Besser ist es, Lösungen gemeinsam zu erarbeiten und von der Erfahrung anderer zu profitieren.

Yes, I know, it needs a lot of effort. I like it and I would not want to switch back. Weird but, on the other hand I won't recommend doing it. You really should know in advance what you're embarking on.
