when i was moving to japan, i said i'd learn some of the language and work on my weeb street cred.
now that i can hold a little conversation and have unironically collected some acrylic stands... what's the next goal to go for?

you hang in there, man. surely there's nothing stupid that comes out of entrusting one's decisionmaking and sanity to arbitrary code hallucinations, this is definitely the way of the future.

but it boggles the mind how my pile of scrap metal on wheels is considered a "great bike" in a country where bikes are common... or maybe the police officers feel the need to compliment every vehicle? 🤔

@osakajack@famichiki.jp the bike is back in one piece. i'm thinking of taking it to the mainland, i have a work trip coming up. oh i wish i was strong enough to rip the thing apart. couldn't unscrew the pedals. 🤷

flight, taking it with ana from naha to tokyo. and it's european-sized, so even with dismantling the whole enchilada i still had to report it in advance to reserve space. 🤷 just extending a work trip into some random cycling.
it's my first time traveling anywhere with a bike as luggage, so i'm a headless chicken about it... advice is very very welcome :)
