A pair of White-tailed Eagles settled there in 2006 and now 20 years later there are ca. 40 breeding pairs in the country with no sign of the increase stopping soon. Here in Denmark, where the increase has been even larger we even have a pair ranging within biking distance of the center of our second-largest city (pop. ca. 300k).

@0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange As for the books I really enjoyed them very much and want to say thank you for giving something like this to the world. They took over my idle thoughts as I was reading them in a way very few books have managed. I don't think a book has ever made me say "oh shit" out loud while reading before, certainly not as loudly as I did (I think the loudest "oh shit" was when Hayr got the star).

@0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange I just finished reading vol. 3 of the books a few days ago so I am very excited to hopefully finally learn some details about this alleged time crime I have been hearing about but haven't been able to piece together the details of (probably tomorrow after I commit the time crime of going to bed at a reasonable hour though)

@etc@toot.wales I don't see any P. glauca here, the foliose ones seem to be mostly Parmotrema with a bit of Parmelia sulcata too. Usnea is right for the fructicose one but they are often not trivial to get to species.

@pmakholm Jeg har været i samme situation flere gange; jeg synes det er et foruroligende signal om hvor lidt DAO og/eller folk i almindelighed kerer sig om fejlleveret post. Hvis folk ellers er gode til at returnere det må det være noget der sker for dem hele tiden og igen, når jeg ganger mængden jeg har fået med oplandet til min DAO-biks.
