I agree with you absolutely!! :-) :-)

I've always loved Ursula K. Le Guin, "A Wizard of Earthsea"

Monsters have babies too.
Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. As you might imagine, monster parents can be a bit protective. Mothers in particular. They consider us (humans) more than a bit strange and potentially dangerous. It took most of my free time, lots of monster "treats" and carefully followed Monster Etiquette to befriend just a few of them. Even then, I felt a bit nervous and on edge as I made sketches of their most beloved offspring. It is always a good idea to remind oneself that monsters are ultimately unpredictable creatures, and should be given proper respect at all times.

One teeny, solitary baby stands precariously on Moms scaly leg.

GO DEEP TO FIND YOUR BLISS
Life can often feel chaotic. Unbalanced. Stressful.
Try and see that it is just on the surface.
Stop frantically treading water just to stay
afloat amidst the craziness.
Instead, choose to go deep.
Deep down, where the restless tides abate.
Deep within, where inner calm resides.
Where bliss can be found.

The Mysterious Monster March: THE GLOWING DOOR
Illustration from a children's picture book that I am working on.
---------------------
They arrive at midnight.
Gentle music charms their ears, while the smell of fresh baked cookies tempts their noses.
They stomp restlessly at the entrance. Who dares to enter?

Gorgeous Monster: Mr. Eelish and his Golden Slinkifer, Minasterith -------------------- Gorgeous Monsters and Their Pets Welcome to my new interview series. I am the official human spokesperson for the Guardian Monster Guild, editor of the "Monster Times & Review" and author of the glamorous tell-all book, "What Monsters Want". These are hard-won credentials that I have worked tirelessly to obtain. As an ordinary human being, entering the realm of Monsterdom requires a rigorous determination, and an ego that can survive all manner of taunts, threats and indignation. I have endured countless nips, pokes and licks from numerous monsters whose intent, it seems, was to provoke me into giving up. I have proved them wrong! NOTE: This latest set of interviews on monster pets is for human eyes only and includes interviews with a select group from the Gorgeous Monsters Society. (This is the name they give themselves.) Here we discuss their feelings of unabashed adoration for their beloved pets as well as their care and feeding. -------------- Read the FULL interview at: https://www.behance.net/gallery/229971977/Gorgeous-Monster-Mr-Eilish-his-Golden-Slinkifer (100% human-made) human imagined, drawn and painted, no AI whatsoever. #art #artist #illustration #illustrator #drawing #paintings #noAI #childrensbooks #fineart #artwork #landscape #nature #childrensart #artforchildren #interiordecor #flowers #mastoart #art #artistsonmastodon #artlover #artlovers #decor #popart #artlovers #handmade #supportthearts #monsters #monster #creature #friend #love #pets #de_artists #mastoart #de_artist #artist_de #mastoart #mastoartist #de_artists #humanMadeArt #DigitalArt #floral #HappyArt
