@daringfireball In related news: Today three of the biggest German political (mostly left) parties announced that they leave X. They are now on BlueSky. https://www.spiegel.de/politik/deutschland/spd-gruene-und-linke-kuendigen-gemeinsam-ihre-parteipraesenz-bei-x-auf-a-62202ce5-b258-4364-9904-9f8350defad7

@hepcatguy@mastodontech.de @jwalke@social.lol @viticci@mastodon.macstories.net That is right, but all configurations and especially all the many permissions have to be done again. I wish there would be an update way without it.

@viticci There are more changes for Stage Manager in iPadOS 16.2 than you list in the article: The windows dimensions are finally preserved for each app when switching between landscape, portrait and back! That was the biggest annoyance for me. "Fullscreen" in the three points menu of each window now works different. Like "Minimizing" it separates the window from the current stage and put it in a new stage.
