I'm reasonably pleased with my library/media room. Yes, the shoe chair being placed near the Dior book on the shelf is intentional. ;) I just wish I had 5 to 10 more prims for the parcel - I've linked objects as best I can and feel very squeezed.

I think these are better than my first attempt with this outfit:

I was in the club, shaking my sequined booty when the A/C failed. I was already about to melt, and the tang of sweat mixed with the rank miasma of ancient spilled drinks got to be too much - I escaped to get some fresh air. My feet were hot, so I kicked off my shoes. The cool steps outside felt amazing.

I have questions about this study. For example, did they compare the brains of teens who haven't had Covid with those who have? Were there differences?

@tenqciousb@mastodon.sdf.org @plaguepoems@mastodon.social So you object to the poem because you perceive a superior tone in it that you feel isn't justified? Do I have that right?
Imagine the author is someone you love dearly who has a compromised immune system. If they catch Covid, it could kill them. That person has days where they are able to go to the store to get groceries, but their risk would be significantly lower if others masked. Can you understand their feelings of frustration?

@tenqciousb@mastodon.sdf.org @plaguepoems@mastodon.social Your situation differs from mine; my situation differs from that of others. In my circumstance, two co-workers got Covid in the past two weeks. Each one isolated immediately, fortunately.
To your point that flu is out there, too, did you know there's possibly a link between the flu and Parkinson's disease?

@dansup I've been meaning to give Pixelfed a try. Perhaps once these changes are live, I'll dive in. Thanks for your efforts!
I'm so tired right now, and I have to stay on through tomorrow night.
He is such a complete disaster as president. I just do not understand how he passes right through the bullshit detectors of people who ought to know better, and now he's gotten into this mess in Iran. #USPolitics #Trump

“The Government’s case against Davey Hearn should never have been brought,” Hearn attorney Steven Levin said on Friday. “Its dismissal today does not erase the abuse of government power in arresting and charging a patriotic American. The government’s approach was ready, shoot, aim. The federal government owes Mr. Hearn an apology.”
