A little late for #genuary31 "break one of your previous images", so I took the one I did on the 18th, and messed with it. #genuary
This was fun, a few more palettes and fine tuning and this could be a drop on fx(hash) :-D
"Minimalism"
I don't really do much visual #debugging, so ever since I started using fx(stdio), my debugging essentially looks like this:
#genuary5 #genuary
Didn't feel motivated or inspired for #genuary18 #genuary - not because of the prompt. Just tired.
But I managed to throw a little Aleksandra Jovanić inspired thing together.
I had an idea for today's prompt, Sine Waves, but I got so busy with the visualization that I actually to include sin() :-D
But the second image is both sine and cosine!
When I saw the prompt for today, I knew I wanted to try out a recursive function, because I've never really done anything like that before.
And just for kicks, I wanted to see if chatGPT could help me write the code that I was unfamiliar with :-)
Had a lot of fun with "Shortest Distance Functions" for #genuary8 #genuary (a little late to posting).
Since I'm completely new to the concept, I just toyed with the code from @piterpasma@genart.social|s excellent video, combined with my own "flower" shape.
I was looking through my inspiration folder, and noticed a piece that was just perfect for "intersections".
Continued the "Yayoi Kusama" prompt, and decided to combine it with an SDF from @piterpasma@genart.social
for a nice margin.
I had no idea how to create generative music.
So instead I created some small functions to create "hand drawn" lines and ellipses.
Didn't really know what to do for Glitch Art, but figured I could start with a Perlin Noise grid.
And then it just looked kinda glitchy 🤷♂️
