Despite all the problems of Europe's rail network, the variety of international train carriages running through Germany is so cool. I'm taking a ČD railjet for a <2h inner-German trip today. Sometimes I casually use TGV or Trenitalia trains for a 30 minute leg between two cities. There are countless more examples. Likewise I could take German trains all the way to Amsterdam, Brussels, Vienna or Paris. :blobcat_nwn:
