Many people know about #Istanbul sunsets. what is less known is that once in a while the city also manages to deliver moonrises as well. (I certainly didn't know and I live here...).
November 2023.

Some images of snowy roads of #iceland
Images were edited in #Darktable and posted originally to Mastodon in 2017. Some has been a bit re-re-edited since.

a stray cat taking a break on grass. Photo was taken in 2005, Istanbul Turkey
Edited using #darktable and posted in 2017 to mastodon as part of #editBacklog
yes there is a color channel swap (magenta-green if I remember correctly)
there will be a lot of #oldPosts from this trip as this was one trip I came back home with something like 70GB of photographs.
Part of it was because #Iceland is stunningly beautiful. Other part is because this was as an art residency (rather than a conference) so I had the time to photograph throughout 2 weeks I was there.

I know I said no more #oldPosts today but...
A few more #filmPhotography
1) sunset from 2000-2002 period
2) raindrops on window from 2003
3) early fall trees in Abant, Turkey, not sure how old this one is, except definitely pre-2002.
First two were posted in 2017, with some editing from #Darktable to mastodon. Last one, I am not sure I ever posted it.
One day I'll rescan these and see if I can improve the resolution.

@woozle@toot.cat it actually depends where in Iceland you are. When I arrived for that particular trip in February it was raining. As we got north it was a different story though.

I have been taking sunset and sky photographs for a long time now but these still might be some of my favorites.
