@matty@blahaj.zone another good option to get out of amazon's drms is to find ebook downloads for books you might own through amazon's store. There's lots of websites which while legally dubious should allow you to have your owned content available for you to use in open formats.
I used to pray for times like this 🙏

Small gripe about digital ocean: when you go to try and deploy a container, it forces you to have at least one http or internal port in the dashboard which it will try to ping or fetch for a healthcheck. In the case of @snake@mastodon.world, I didn't have anything like that meaning it would keep marking the deployment as a failure even though it was posting stuff. I ended up just deploying the bot manually on a droplet.
new high score wow
y'all don't got no motion it's all static like it's van de graaaf
got a good break in so i'm gonna start writing a new story.

have an open relationship with books. read multiple at a time because it genuinely helps when you feel bogged down from only seeing one subject matter or writing style. i alternate between a classic, religious text, and contemporary non-fiction because it helps me always have something interesting to read.
five years from now i'm going to be a physicist
any ideas what i should add to @snake@mastodon.world ? have a little time on my hands and figured you guys deserve something to switch it up
