I feel so honored to be part of this @phparch@phparch.social team, and I am so proud of the hard work they put into PHP/JS Tek. It was a wild one, but I'll save that tea for the podcast this Thursday.
Taking my kid to their first Chicago Cubs game
Someone uploaded all the Jeffery Epstein documents to Gmail clone and it's awesome. JMail, JPhotos, there's a Drive, and JFlight section as well. Very well done. https://www.jmail.world/
Chicago bond. Looking forward to see you all at #phptek next week. Not too late to purchase a ticket at https://phptek.io
Join @john@phparch.social and myself for a complete breakdown of this year's PHP Tek 2026 ( @phptek@phparch.social / @phparch@phparch.social / @jstek@mastodon.social ). We'll discuss the highs, the lows, and what's in the future, as well as our normal PHP rhetoric and tomfoolery.

Thanks to Savio Resende (and his wife) for these awesome magnets he made for PHP Tek.
If you’re coming to #phptek and didn’t already know this, there is a minor league baseball team about 3 miles from the hotel venue. @TheChicagoDogs baseball is worth the visit. Tickets and concessions are all reasonably priced.
It's good to know someone with a good 3D printer. @john@phparch.social printed me this awesome stand for my HomePod mini.
It was so awesome catching up with Sammy K again. It's been so long, and it was so much fun talking about old times and what he's been up to lately.
That guy is such a treasure of the PHP Community.

I recently had a random thought, and I might be crazy, but are the Golden State Warriors the only top-tier professional sports franchise here in the US that doesn't take on the geographical name of the city or state they play in? I can't think of any other team in any sport that makes up that first part. Golden State. I mean, technically, "New England" isn't a state or city, but it seems more grounded as a geographical region and not a hyped marketing name like "The Golden State."
Very excited to todays PHP Alive and Kicking. They are being joined by Elizabeth Barron, the new Executive Director of The PHP Foundation. Show is going live in about 35 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4ys6rjMe6E

Wife and I are having some adult beverage time.
I'm not someone who prides himself his graphic arts skills. But I have to say, I HATE FONTS. You would laugh at me if I told you how much time I wasted trying to find a font that had a K in this style. Tried several "What font is it" sites and they all failed me. Eventually I found something close.
OK, I need to know if I know anyone who's ever had a "Farmers Coke". They mention it's drunk in North Carolina. I've never heard of this, and now I need to see if I have any peanuts in the house.
