PHP Tek

Our team is passionate about creating a community-led space at Tek (and beyond). @packagist is another 2026 partner and is made up of people just as invested in our community as we are, bringing us great tools from people who understand PHP. Thanks from Chicago, team! 🐘🧡

We will be livestreaming Lilah Jones's keynote this morning to phptek.tv at 9:00am CDT. You may have caught Lilah on the Community Corner podcast earlier this year-- now is your chance to hear more of her strategies on how to remain confident in high-stress situations.

📣📣 Nothing left to do but to do it! The doors to PHPTek 2026 open on Tues, May 19th at 8:45am CDT. Grab your bag, pick up a shirt, and get ready to kick off this year's conference. 📣📣

We're so proud to be partners with Artisan Build at Tek! Artisan Build cares about supporting developers, both in helping you build better code and keeping you excited about your work, and we're happy have them be a part of Tek's foundation this year!

We'll be streaming James Titcumb's talk, A Slice of PIE: Revolutionising PHP Extension Installation this afternoon, 1:00pm CDT in the Lobby on PHPTek.TV! Check it out to learn more about PHP Installer for Extensions as a new tool for developers.

Clayton Kendall is not only a Tek partner this year, but also is a trusted part of the prep for the conference that happens long before we get to the hotel. If you like your shirt that you got at registration, consider giving a thanks to the Clayton Kendall team with us! 🧡👕

If you subscribe to the magazine, you've definitely seen our partner CodeRabbit pop up between articles. They're another important part of what let's us focus on producing the Tek we all love to see every year! Thanks, CodeRabbit! 🧡🐇

Good morning from Day Two! The hotel has let us know that we're able to be back in the ballroom this morning, so please double check the rooms for your talks today. (Updates will also come through the PHP Tek Attendee app if you have notifications on!)

Our apologies to our virtual attendees who haven't been able to access the stream. Due to unforeseen circumstances with the hotel, we're having difficulty getting all of our technological ducks back in a row. We'll keep you updated as things change! 🤞🏼

Unfortunately, we haven't figured out how to read minds (yet). Show us what parts of Tek make your camera roll! Tag #PHPArchitect and #PHPTek in your posts this week and help us see Tek through your eyes! 📷 📸 📷

‼️‼️ Hello from Day One! Quick correction to the schedule-- we've had to move some things around. Please be sure to check our updated schedule here to make sure you know where you're going. ‼️‼️

We couldn't put on Tek without the help of our community 🧡🐘 We'll be thanking our partners throughout the week, starting with our friends at Vehikl! Vehikl has been a part of Tek for years now, and we couldn't be more grateful to welcome them back this year.

☕ Tek kicks off tomorrow morning! ☕ Not sure what talks you want to attend? You can find full summaries of all talks (and their recommended experience levels) at phptek.io!

📣📣 Just one more sleep until Tek! ElePHPants have been tucked in, podcasters are panicking, and we can't wait to see you tomorrow! 📣📣

It's looking like rain in Chicago, so be sure to toss a raincoat or umbrella in your bag before you leave! ☔
