Really enjoyed listening to the closing panel at the IFLA Satellite "inclusiveness through openness", discussing the means and ends of #openaccess.

Particularly agreed with @ilkayholt@glammr.us 's point on the importance of facilitating experimentation of different solutions.

As we work through close to 200 #openinfrastructure fund applications (3x of what we expected), i'm thankful for team members carving time out of their busy days to check proposals, reviewers who went above and beyond to help recruit more reviewers, reviewers who said yes on short notice

Governance is clearly important in the #diamondOA conversation - I'm curious how journals & infra approach building good community governance and what kind of resources (financial and otherwise) are needed for that...

Karina Batthyány of CLACSO made a great point about the need for the #diamondOA conversation to be inclusive, that the support that is needed for sustainable diamond OA in a country, including infra and capacity building, should be achievable with the resources available in that country/region.

Tatiana Bryant and Camille Thomas's study presented at the IFLA Satellite highlights some of the specific concerns faced by BIPOC faculty in publishing open access.
