A very cold start to #FinsburyPark #parkrun this morning but as the sun broke through it warmed into a lovely run (I’m glossing over the short sharp hill).
A trip made all the better for seeing the marvellous @GavinFreeguard@mastodon.me.uk colliding out of my work world and into my running one.
Another wonderful weekend of London adventures with @tabisw@mastodonapp.uk including visiting the London Mithraeum; Bridgerton popup at Liberty; and Starlight Express.
@martinhowitt@urbanists.social I spent Friday with Lucy … had dinner with her on the Thursday too. We’re mutual desert fans! And fans of you too! 😃
Dearest gentle reader … it’s my #Weeknotes for @ConnectedByData@social.coop

#FinishedWatching Red Eye (season 1 and 2).
They were a few “but why would they do that?!” moments but the female leads were ace. Enjoyed the watch and would enjoy another series.
#FinishedWatching The Night Manager (Series 2).
I wasn’t sure it could be as good as the first but it was. It’s rare that I watch TV as stress inducing as this - I have to pick the moments I can stomach watching it - but it’s worth it.

#NowReading ‘The Seaside Family’ by Enid Blyton (from ‘The Family Series’).
The last (for me) of this series. Planning to enjoy a couple of shorter easier fiction reads whilst waiting for a library reservation to arrive.
#FinishedWatching Silent Witness (Season 29)
It’s been good for a long while and this season was (mostly) a continuation of that.
#FinishedReading ‘Cheer up love: Adventues in depression with the crab of hate’ by Susan Calman.
And interesting insight to depression and anxiety, told in her familiar comedic voice.
#NowReading ‘Go ahead, Secret Seven’ by Enid Blyton.
Enjoying the occasional dip into the next in the series (which I got as a present as a presentation set).
No sign of the library reservation I’m waiting on though so next one will be a non-fiction.
#FinishedReading ‘The Seaside Family’ by Enid Blyton (from ‘The Family Series’).
Oh I do so enjoy the simplicity and gentleness of ‘The Family Series’. Still makes me want to live in a caravan too.
#NowReading ‘Sisters of sword and shadow’ by Laura Bates.
Borrowed from #Taunton Library. Recommended by Lucy Banks (iirc)
#FinishedReading ‘Go ahead, Secret Seven’ by Enid Blyton.
Another mystery solved including an unusual occurrence with Scamper the dog being temporarily the seventh member of the Secret Seven.
#FinishedReading ‘107 days’ by @kamalaharris.com
I’ve previously read Obama’s post-presidency book, Michelle Obama’s “Becoming”, Hilary Clinton’s book about losing to Trump, and Nick Clegg’s book about the UK coalition government. This is by far the most engaging and accessible read IMHO.
#FinishedWatching Call The Midwife: Season 15.
I cried for almost all of it. I cried at the sad. I cried at the happy. I cried at the uplifting. I cried at the love.
TV drama excellence.

#FinishedWatching Bridgerton (Series 4).
Dearest gentle reader…twas most excellent.
