@catacosmosis @bruvik @ninawildflower I absolutely agree. He never was a member of the NSDAP, either. But from all the sources I have, he did not use his machine against the Nazis. He also got paid for the calculating machine, AKA computer (200.000 Reichsmark). So, all in all, the Computer was not invented to combat the Nazis, however, many advances in Computer Science and Cryptography were indeed the result of the fight against the Nazis, as for example the ones by Alan Turing.

@ninawildflower @bruvik Please be aware that the first modern computer was the Zuse Z1, developed by Konrad Zuse in Germany during the Nazi regime.
