The march of the Palmer Penguins continues 🐧! From Antarctica to PLoS ONE to {palmerpenguins} to base R #RStats! What a joy to help them navigate this stage of their journey. It’s a wrap for me on #AdventOfCode for 2023, working in #RStats. I wrote up a few closing reflections. https://adventofcode.ellakaye.co.uk/2023/day/conclusion/.
My solutions (30 stars worth) and explanations are at https://adventofcode.ellakaye.co.uk/2023.html.
I had fun, challenged myself and learnt a lot - just as it should be 😃
Looking forward to this conversation with Malvika! Please do join to hear us chat about our experiences in/with the #RSEng community, and the challenges and successes we’ve encountered when working to improve EDIA. We’ll discuss the importance and difficulties of community-building and why it matters from an EDIA perspective, and the intersectionality between developing an RSE identity and our identities as members of groups under-represented in the broader RSE community. @researchsoft@fosstodon.org
