Emotional damage but make it character development.

mastodon 4.7.2A queer writer lost in the Swedish woods, surviving on caffeine and chaos.
I build stories, spit out rants I pretend are deep, read books that make me feel, and chase dogs and kids through the forest.
Too many thoughts, too little focus, too much caffeine, and way too much chai. Balance is important, apparently.
Occasionally I manage to pretend I'm a functional adult. As one should at 30+.
Mental and physical struggles as the final sprinkle 👌🏼

That's not really doable for me either. Now, I'm pretty new on here, so that's why the number is low. But I try to not follow more than I can keep up with.
I like your vibe! :)
Another day, another lake. Swimming, enjoying the sun, cooking dinner over a fire. Summer being summer.

#insomnia sucks.
The ancient feeling of cooking over fire brings tears to my eyes. Could also just be the smoke.
Exactly what I needed today.

I think part of the resistance from transmascs comes from fearing the loss of belonging as men. Taking responsibility means stepping outside cis norms, and when masculinity is the only space society offers, that feels risky. Sometimes playing along is survival, not denial. It doesn't make it right though.
