A common fallacy I see is people believing that - given that animal agriculture is more resource intensive than plant agriculture - the optimal quantity of animal products is zero.
The problem with this is the law of supply. Marginal costs increase with quantity. At very low quantity, there might even be marginal benefits (oysters, mussels, culling of excess herbivore populations, honeybees, regenerative cattle herding etc).

The end of the presumption of regularity is so long overdue but also so welcome. I know that part of why judges extended it for so long was because of the supreme court's shenanigans, and maybe they'll still get bitten later by Trump's pets telling them that they have to assume regularity no matter how absurd it is. It is refreshing to hear that judges will now assume by default ICE counsel is lying, though.

And another generation of us learns the definition of "haboob".
The sloptroversy of Talarico's supposed veganism is upsetting not just because they could simply take Talarico at his word and observe him eating meat and dispel themselves of such a notion, but also because, if I remember correctly the bible literally implores people to accept vegan nonbelievers as part of their community. Talarico is neither but even if he was you were literally commanded not to ostracize him over that.
