Started NieR: Automata this weekend! Finished Route A (and Route W 🫣). I think I much prefer the approach of Automata where all the canonical endings arise from just playing through the game rather than doing something specific like upgrading all the weapons.

I think the greatest compliment I can give Michael B Jordan’s incredible performance in Sinners is that I legitimately did not know Smoke and Stack were being played by the same actor until the credits rolled.

having just rolled credits on Xenoblade Chronicles X, it’s incredibly funny that the previous game I played was Expedition 33

I do think it’s very neat that having a PC allows you to legally purchase and play virtually every entry in the Final Fantasy franchise released over the last forty years.

Was up until 2AM trying to beat the final boss of the new Definitive Edition ending for Xenoblade Chronicles X. Sadly even with lowering the difficulty I was unable to make it even halfway to phase two, and with the game locking you out of the rest of Mira there didn’t appear to be any hope. So I watched the fight on YouTube. Feels really bad to get that far in a game and be in an unrecoverable situation, but I only wanted the story.
