I do not appreciate a deluge of notifications and emails from Trainline reminding me I have queried your ticket prices and not completed my purchase… because I decided to buy them on a cheaper app. Wish there was a quick button to press which said “I aborted the sale because a competitor was slightly cheaper.”
I suppose it’s part of the degradation of email (and notifications) that automatic systems absolutely blast emails at you with the slightest justification. I got a random pretend headhunter email yesterday and follow ups twice in two days when I ignored it. I’d like to think that proves no human was involved but perhaps humans now email relentlessly. So rude.
