After a friend's phone fell off the table, the screen stopped working. I took a look at it, and luckily it turned out that only the display connector had come loose.
Sometimes it's just an easy fix

Today I took a look at how this toaster is built. It even came with some free pieces of bread, which was a nice bonus... although they probably shouldn't have been near the mains connection and the latch mechanism.
Even though I have other plans for it, I first reinforced the spring mechanism and toasted a slice of bread.
Sorry, I just had to

Here are a few games I found. At least the ones that still have their original cases 🙃

It was a great event at the "Nacht der Technik" (Night of Technology) in Koblenz, Germany, with so much to see and discover.
Of course, you couldn’t possibly miss the booth from the hacker and makerspace haxko, showing off what’s possible with 3D printing and all sorts of cool tech projects. Visitors could even solder circuit boards and take them home.

If I’m interpreting the posts from @hkz@social.chinwag.org correctly, you should definitely check the capacitors beforehand 🫠

The workshop data from EH23 is available...
For the small version, you mainly need an IKEA picture frame, a 3D print that replaces the front glass, an ESP32-S2 mini, and a WS2812B LED strip with 60 LEDs per meter. (You can build a version with either 27 or 45 pixels.)
I haven’t finished the GitHub README yet, but the EH23 presentation PDF is included, as well as all the required files.
It’s actually quite easy to replicate, even without much experience
