@mttaggart@infosec.exchange @luxliquida@critter.cafe Tried to sign up for Porkbun today (after many recommendations like this one, and finally this one) and they wanted to verify my identity through a third party. I’m trying very hard to switch from Cloudflare but it’s nearly impossible to find anyone better.

@evacide @hnapel Apocalyptic asymptote.

@82mhz It depends on the person, the equipment, and the song, I think. In your AB tests I gauged my confidence level along with which I thought was lossless and on two of them I had high confidence and was correct on both. On the others I couldn’t tell at all. However, on the two I could tell, that’s only because I was hearing them together. The mp3 was perfectly good sounding on its own.

why the hell do my eyebrows grow so fast now

@Wen@mastodon.scot My guess is that there is an elevation difference. I’ve noticed it because my parents’ house is 1000ft higher than mine.

@Daytonlowell@mastodon.social Cursed

@yaurthek@mastodon.top @marcoarment@mastodon.social @codinghorror@infosec.exchange That’s exactly the sentiment expressed by wanting more like him. He likely supports what you want. This is just good. Not “good, but…”. Don’t diminish good because it’s not exactly what you want. If we had it we wouldn’t need what Jeff is doing.

@infobeautiful@vis.social With a bunch of AI slop images. Good good. I assume it’s slop all the way down.

@hjmiii@wandering.shop @cstross@wandering.shop We can do both. Enablers should also be called out.
