Kids these days will never understand what mice used to be like. You had to sometimes clean a rubber ball and also they were 3 feet long, weighed over 100lbs, and were carved from wood.

Do different displays make certain areas of the spectrum easier or harder to distinguish?

Was ready to be discouraged that I would have to install a random app to configure my new keyboard, but its not the case - they have a web app that uses web-usb!

Protip to avoid getting frustrated having to enter one time code, insert yubikey, enter yubikey pin, press yubikey, scan qr code, open passkey app on phone, authenticate with biometrics on phone to use passkey app: just play Decsive Battle from Neon Genesis Evangelion during. Now if I can have that happen automatically...

@cinnamon@hachyderm.io @runewake2@hachyderm.io Is there a recommended automatic way to set that up that sort of thing?
I made a powershell script that would generate Windows Terminal JSON fragment extensions for each of my local dev repos. I was going to run the script every time I started the prompt so it would automatically find new and remove old local repos, but IIRC I had some weirdness around Windows Terminal remembering old profiles (or something along those lines - don't quite recall the details now).
(I too got excited seeing PowerToys in the drop-down, although I couldn't figure out what I thought it would do 😅)

@cstross@wandering.shop My families first computer was the "portable" C64 SX. My dad gave the neighbors an extra wheelbarrow he had and they had just upgraded their computer and offered him their old C64 SX. I loved that machine.
