Tbh I think this kind of harassment (which is what it is) deserves a media-wide response. A day-long boycott by reporters and outlets? Because I think that if this just continues on with musk in the power position, it will recur.

@Jbauer@bhre.social I'd be interested in your view, too. I think there are different actors with different interests. Musk has particular economic & idiosyncratic personal reasons. Saudi investment is diff. A16 is something else. I'm not sure I see this grand conspiracy to destroy but lots of little conspiracies all with greed & narrative-fixing at their core.

@Jbauer@bhre.social yeah i definitely don't think it's just haplessness by musk (but that's a big part of it). the grand conspiracy theory is attractive but that's all it is, a theory, without a lot of concrete evidence in my view.
