I’ve decided to switch back to WordPress. This was based on the strength of 2 plugins I really want to be using again: “Friends” and “ActivityPub”.
i miss the connection to other people and the interactions I used to have off of the back of some of my posts and gaming photos.

this is actually scary. It’s mad how much the world’s business relies on these few us companies. Madness.
for everyday people it would be amazing if they made it super easy to self host things.
I use wordpress and would love to be able to reliably self host. I could get it working but doesnt feel like it would be taken well by hosting provider.
Transfered from my old server to using Yunohost. Migrated my wordpress site, db and plugins over. So hopefully I dont break anything now :S

I’ve been making some alterations to my website today.
Not the design or anything like that — things like adding a footer and “noindexing” short text pages.
Gonna be redoing my virtual photography pages too. I will still post single shots now and again, but I’m also starting to create some curated galleries too.
Here’s to progress.
