@mattiem@mastodon.social yeah, that we would even need to spend a moment considering whether it was real is concerning in and of itself.

@mattiem@mastodon.social as I read that, I couldn’t help but think it was a parody. The name seems a dead giveaway, but if I’m wrong, this is just … wow. Anything indicating to you that it’s real?

@timonus I got this one 6 years ago and have no significant regrets. No longer available, but maybe you can find more recent models. https://a.co/d/04MXlRDw
@schwa@mastodon.social honestly, probably Claude, but I continue to think Fork is one of the most straight-forward GUIs. The tools in Fork are all there, but not in your face all at one or so hidden that they aren’t discoverable.
@schwa@mastodon.social look, his ass isn’t going to lick itself.
@schwa@mastodon.social 3d print a lens cap with an AirTag holder built in.
@schwa@mastodon.social well, that’s where the Fork rec came in. I feel it’s easy enough to achieve basic tasks very easily and would be way more efficient than using an LLM, but if we are talking about someone who wants to do advanced GIT things, the balance shifts quickly.
@schwa@mastodon.social to be fair, I just don’t consider any GIT clients to be for non-engineers (or at least non-technical), and claude ends up being the defacto bridge in my mind when crossing that boundary.
