One week into self hosting a matrix instance and man this shit sucks.
I wouldn't say irredeemable; in fact it can do most things I actually want. But the Element people are so fucking slimy. The standard is atrocious. I don't fucking care about E2EE. I'm looking for "slightly better than IRC", and I'm frankly uncertain if it reaches that bar.
How could they fuck it up this badly. It's like I'm reading WG21 Profiles proposals again.

@nflux Probably still the case. Deleting rooms is not part of the standard and I haven't found a way to do it at all without editing the DB myself.

@calcifer@masto.hackers.town kinda curious, could you be more specific? There's so many artists who match this description for me, so I assume there's some restriction I'm missing here besides "I looked on Cara/ArtStation". In fact, I think most fantasy artists don't make pinups/nsfw content as their primary professional work.
If you just want a name, I always really love Sandara Tang's pieces!
