Two days using GitHub:
Day 0: GitHub actions got stuck and the workflow took many hours to finish
Day 1: PR outages - unable to create
It has been going great obviously.
Hell yeah my hydrangea survived the brutal winter!! 🌱
Wow I’m getting better at latte art
Bought this cute little thing while it was on sale earlier this week...... this will be the secondary NAS as a backup of the primary one.
Man I’m so angry and upset.
TLDR: Josh got scammed by lying door knocking reps switching electricity supplier.
I can’t believe Josh got scammed in March by door knocking sales people into switching electricity supplier to Nordic (yes notoriously). The sales rep actually claimed they work for Arcadia energy. They didn’t mention a word about Nordic. I don’t know what Josh was thinking at the time, because he told me not to trust strangers that come to our door, but he just somehow believed them and handed them the electricity bill (all they ever need to switch your supplier).
And Josh didn’t even tell me. A few weeks ago I saw him putting in credit card number on some website called Arcadia so I asked if he was buying more shoes 🤣 and he told me about Arcadia so I did some research. It didn’t look bad so I just let it slip.
Fast forward to last Friday. Josh sent me the Eversource bill which is $1100 for the past month. He didn’t usually do that, he’d just pay for them. But it is so high that he was surprised so he sent me to look at. We did use more energy compared with the same period last year. But a second look at the supplier rate caught my attention. It was almost doubled from $0.14 per kWh to $0.27. I asked him to send me all the bills this year and the supplier was switched from Boston Municipal program to Nordic three months ago. The rate was close to the municipal program for the first two months so we didn’t suspect a thing. But now it’s almost doubled. I started comnecting the dots and concluded that Josh got scammed back then.
Photos from the past weekend rides in San Francisco! Sometimes this makes me question my life choice of moving to Boston from bay area 😅
Sunday easters brunch at Harvest in Harvard Square
132 km (82 miles) ride today with roosters
First time with them. No idea how I ended up with the fastest group. Ripped 100k with them averaging 30+kph (19mph) and made PR for 50k (32kph for that). I actually wasn't sure if I could do this because my fitness level had been pretty rough being lazy and not training during the winter. I guess I still got some LOL. Even pulled the group for about 1 mile LOL.
Weather was so weird today. It was warm in the early morning, even got very hot during lunch sitting in the sun in Stow. But the temperature took a nose dive right after lunch and it was horrendous headwind all the way back to Dorchester. Worst part was around Hascom and Mass ave across Lexington, Arlington and Cambridge. It was almost like a wind tunnel. Cold and very unpleasant.
My soon to be mother in law pointing to a triple decker next to a commercial building:
Look how close they’re! There’s no space in between!
Me: people need homes to live and we’re in pretty dense urban area and also close to train station.
She: there need to be 10 ft between them.
Me: that’s basically half of the triple decker! Fewer people could live here if there’s so much space wasted.
She: people are forced to live in there.
Me: nobody is forced to live in the city. Boston homes are expensive because people want to live here.
She: no people are forced to live here, in tight little spaces in the city.

What the freaking conspiracy theory is that??? She lives in Idaho, go figure 🙄
Seriously sunburnt after a ride in San Francisco
Sunscreen is such a remote concept for me I didn't even think about it until feeling the burn...
Got upgraded to business class on Northeast Regional... I bid $66 and won LMAO
Wonder how it is compared with Acela
Two beers yesterday and my HRV nose dived to 31ms last night
But the ride is on so here I am getting ready to bike to Ptown
Omg Richi CARAPAZ won stage 18!!! 🥇I’m so happy!!!!!
EF grabbed the LAST chance to win a stage for breakaway!
I’ve been waiting for this for the whole tour! EF is having a wonderful tour now - polka dot jersey earlier in the stage and now a stage win!!!
I'm loving this channel
Tried dockhand and it's really great! I can finally see everything in one place and very convenient!
He didn't mention how to adopt remote stacks - I mounted that via NFS to the host and then bind mount that to dockhand so it can see everything!
I have a shirtless cowboy oil painting hanging in the closet room now but that wall is going to be wardrobe
Should I hang it in the bedroom overlooking the bed? 😅
First day back in Boston since the blizzard
the disabled train made me suffer 30 more minutes on my commute 🙄
My soon to be mother in law asked if two people would sit in her business class cabin to Paris. I think it’s adorable and hilarious.
She is 86 years old. This would be her last big trip.
A little rat was spotted a few days ago because it was carrying my dog’s dental treat to the stove. We put down traps but didn’t catch it.
Josh just spotted it again running under the dishwasher so several holes and gaps were found behind the refrigerator and under the sink. And droppings.
I’m a little tuckered out by the ride and it’s too much for me to deal with a rat now 😳
Oh no not US again meddling with another country’s election
Alll these years everything has becoming more and more expensive but my tax lady always charges me the same LOL
Just noticed today driving in Kendall Sq in Cambridge! There's the red light count down on the instrument screen on Taycan!
They need to learn a lesson. Clean Energy means Energy independence. Sunshine and wind aren't getting disrupted by a war thousands of miles away.
@DejGuy@mstdn.social @stevegis_ssg@mas.to omg I love Quechee / Woodstock! Rented a cabin there for a week two years ago in the summer. Had dinner at Simon Pierce overlooking the river. Glassware is too expensive though hahahha.
Oooh the queen stage started early
