I handed over this recent commission to its owner today. More about This Ol' House (Bakewell Old House Museum) on my website here https://cognissart.co.uk/this-ol-house/

I'm really rather happy with this one 💚 Summer Emeralds in Ruby Wood. I was never good at painting in greens so pleased that stitching works much better!
I'm not totally convinced about the mount colour, but I had this one in and I want to exhibit it next weekend at #DerbyshireOpenArts (might revisit when I have time)

I was so pleased when the original Beech Walk sold just before Christmas as a surprise gift. I had it down for my #ArtAdventCalendar but didn’t use it in case I gave away the secret! I still have prints available #art

#WIPWednesday a bit early so that I don't forget! Temple to Hyacinthus, Renishaw. This definitely won't be framed by the Midsummer Art event but I might just get it finished in time 🤞

Well I've finally finished Silver Surprise which features birch trees near #SurpriseView I will have it framed and on display at my next event which is the @peakdistrictartisans@mastodon.art Spring #Art Fair in Buxton 12/13 April. I might also enter it for a certain competition 😉 It's off to my photographer next week so I should have prints available soon.
