I'm normally a @thunderbird@mastodon.online user, and I love it, but decided to give @EvolutionGnome@floss.social a try since it's been a few years. I can safely say that we, in the Open Source community, have some awesome choices.

Does this moron actually think the "leak" came from within Congress? Does he have any proof? Maybe talk to your Defense Secretary, Don.

So, I'm currently using two separate Mastodon instances. One for technical conversations (security, privacy, Linux, etc.) and one for pretty much everything else. I just replied to someone on the technical one when I meant to reply on the non-technical one. I don't think this is going to work. I'm going to have to go back to using just one instance. If for anything, my sanity.
My two least favorite times of the year are upon us: Summer and 4th of July (almost).
I hate summer. The heat and humidity is simply unbearable. A few more months, and we're in the clear.
I hate the 4th of July holiday. I severely dislike fireworks and think they should be illegal. They pollute the environment and scare the shit out of wildlife. Not to mention harming people with issues like PTSD. To be honest, even with all of the issues in the UK as of late, I would rather be under their rule than the current administration here in the US. Fuck the 4th of July holiday and fuck celebrating our "independence".
If I could afford to move our family, there are a million other places I would rather live than here in the US.
@ebooksyearn@thepit.social It's only 9 AM here in the St. Louis area and it's already 93 degrees and very humid. I hate this time of year and it's only going to get worse.
