@kbob@chaos.social Tried both a year ago and hated Karakeep and went all in on Linkding. Ended up hating it in real use, moved to Karakeep. My first take was wrong. It’s great.

@siracusa@mastodon.social I figured there was a 50/50 chance my 21yo son would know who he was, so I asked him. He said “Is that the guy that blocks HN links to his site, or is that the other guy?” So doesn't really have any idea why JWZ is internet famous, but is familiar for unrelated reasons.

@siracusa@mastodon.social listening to the bootleg, my take on the Valve steam machine not being subsidized much the same as yours. The only interpretation that makes sense to me is the ecosystem they mean is competing hardware. I.e. if they subsidize the steam deck, then you wouldn’t see the many other handhelds on the market since they would not be as price competitive if Valve was losing 20% on every unit.

@quarterswede@mastodon.social @paul@tapbots.social It's been in the same place for us the whole time. Just walk the furtherest distance you can from the front door, and there it is. It's more infuriating to me that the same shopping center has a UPS, Kohls and Whole Foods and I end up having to go to at least 2 of the 3 every time I have multiple returns.

@paul@tapbots.social I always figured it was Dependabot et al + compliance requirements. They have a ton of dependencies and security requires them to update at least one dependency every week so that vuln scanning is green.

@starsider@valenciapa.ws @annika@xoxo.zone It seems like if you accidentally bump it, or roll your chair into it, you’ll have a bad day. It would make more sense if it were wall mounted than under the desk.

@offby1@wandering.shop @chrishas35@hachyderm.io I’d recommend replacing jackett with prowlarr, although I have no idea if that has anything to do with your problem. It's generally better maintained and integrates better.
