BREAKING: The Supreme Court holds that the Fourteenth Amendment protects birthright citizenship, blocking Donald Trump's executive order to end it. Roberts has the opinion for the court, which is 5-4 on the constitutional question and 6-3 on whether federal law protects birthright citizenship.

UPDATE 2: James Comey is also seeking the suppression of evidence obtained via two warrants in his case — one involving his Apple iCloud account and the other involving two Google accounts. In the same motion, Comey is also seeking a Franks hearing — to challenge the underlying affidavits seeking the warrants — because, Comey argued, the warrants were "issued on the basis of affidavits designed to mislead the issuing magistrates."

LAW DORK: Thursday was the worst day for DOJ. So far.

Duckett’s execution was the 11th by Florida this year. If Occhicone is also executed, his will be the 12th this year by Florida and the 19th in the nation in 2026. Yes, Florida has killed more people than every other state combined.

NEWS: The Supreme Court will not stop Florida from killing Dennis Sochor today. There were no noted dissents. If the state proceeds, it would be Florida’s 10th execution this year and the 17th execution in the U.S. in 2026.
