The best explanation and summary of Long Covid that I've ever read by Prof Trish Greenhalgh, written to coincide with her brilliant Lancet review out today.

Grenfell Inquiry report is crucial reading to understand how failures, lies, disrespect, negligence and a basic disregard of responsibility for life led to 72 people dying.

Abject failure of national govt, local govt, regulators and private companies.

I've written a longer piece going into the wider determinants of health, how these determinants have worsened over the years and how crucial it is for governments to consider health in *every* policy.

And even a bit on the manifestos..!

I wrote about Baroness Hallett's Inquiry Module 1 report for the BMJ

Hallett found that there was *never* a plan to keep a pandemic death toll down - I discuss this and what it means going foward.

A new short piece by me in the BMJ reflecting on the Covid-19 Inquiry Module 1 report and how "emergency planning" needs to be incorporated into "everyday planning"

Was a bit different to be interviewed for the New Statesman

"Policy Ask" but good to discuss things outside of health & covid...! including democracy, wordle, and avoiding working with toxic people wherever possible!

Replying to
@jtonline i definitely would prefer legislation that was not restricted to a single condition. But, it seems as a private members bill it had to be limited in scope. But i think it could be a template for something broader and more transformative.. i hope!
