It's short and easy, and results are useful in academia, business and self-advocacy. #gender #survey #LGBT #LGBTQ @gendercensus@fediverse.gendercensus.com isn't it the 14th annual survey?

But they'd slide along a surface if the coefficient of friction were 0.07 or below, which is very low but not unrealistic for the right materials.

https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/friction-coefficients-d_778.html

So: if you use a really powerful scanner and some overly fortified cereal, on a particularly slippery plate, you can probably get it to move around a bit, but not dangerously so. Might be a fun scicomm demo if for some reason anyone trusted with an MRI scanner will let you try it.

Be careful of the dust in the bottom of the packet, though — some of that's probably tiny particles of pure iron so now your MRI scanner just has stubble forever
@andrewt Just to be clear, there's no risk to eating grapenuts before getting an MRI? I'm probably not the only person who was wondering 😅
