@talonracer@mstdn.ca I see I am not the only one stuck with a box of the floor that I am not allowed to dispose of

@dschaub@mstdn.social @Eric_Neue@indieweb.social @ianRobinson@mastodon.social @atpfm@mastodon.social They should do this then put it all in a single enclosure that can also hold half a dozen drives. Just need to come up with a name for it...

@neauoire@merveilles.town seems to be a Japan thing. A lot of Japanese cinema lenses used to come marked in decimal feet (before we complained so much they all switched to feet and inches)

@mei I realized I'm a type 2 when I decided to completely refactor a growing code base that ran in an embedded environment because it was getting difficult to maintain (despite the fact that there were very few reported bugs). One guess if I ever completed this before retiring the product...

@tvaziri@mastodon.social and while we’re at it, Pong!

@dschaub@mstdn.social @atpfm@mastodon.social I'm in one of those niche industries and am mourning the loss of a Mac that we load up with Video IO cards. I just set up 2 brand new Mac Pros recently for multiple channels of ST2110 capture. The industry is filled with people who would prefer to use Macs but who are being (and have been) pushed to Windows due to lack of support for high end GPUs and now lack of PCI bandwidth.
