NEW RELEASE — Rigby Mono by Pieter van Rosmalen!
Our small Rigby type family got a little larger: now also available in a monospaced variant that makes monospaced text extra personable. Nevertheless, Rigby is still not overwhelming you with a confusing number of styles. Two weights, regular and bold, and a matching italic provide all the emphasis you need for simple projects and correspondence, on screens as well as in print.
Last week Jan-Willem van der Looij (not on Mastodon) and I letterpress printed an art poster for the football match between FC Eindhoven and Vitesse. For the poster I made two linocuts, one with vertical stripes (both clubs have stripes on their home jerseys) and one with text. For the text I used my typeface Vandertak (caketype.com). We think the result looks great. 😊 #letterpress
