mastodon 4.5.18Trying to be part of the solution. Thinking, building and experimenting with new economies: sharing, gifting, cooperating and caring.
Glad to be here at social.coop with my first Mastodon account!
I'm an activist and community organizer based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and I want to connect with people who are somehow active and interested in the following topics:
#gifteconomy
#coops
#communitycurrencies
#climatejustice
#transitiontowns
#p2p
#floss
#commons
#platformcoop
etc.
so much for my #introduction ... Get in touch!
Back on the fediverse after a while to write some toots for @karrot@fosstodon.org , I remembered that I wrote a text for food saving/sharing groups making a case for them not to use Facebook for organizing and to choose free and open-source tools instead.
I make not only an ethical argument, but also explain why other tools are much better suited for these communities to grow and work properly:

RIP David Graeber, one of the best and most inspiring academic and political literature that I've ever read! :(
