Joey Santore really tooks the words right out of my mouth there saying that it's unbelievable how people don't seem to understand that roots break up the soil and help the water infiltrate. Like, anyone who has ever sown a bean should have noticed that you have to water it less once it has a well-established root system because you get less evaporation and more in-depth water retention. But those urbanist ghouls can't even get the most basic, kindergarten-level stuff right.

Just spitballing here, but
I don't like the term "meaning" as in "meaningful".
"Meaning" in this sense means that one thing signifies another. But that's not really what we mean when we say that.
"Life is meaningful" implies that life signifies something. But it does not. It just is.
