There seems to be an obsession in UK mystery TV series with classic (or at least quirky old) cars. Recent ones I can recall: 60s XKE, Nissan Figaro, 90s BMW 3 series, early 70s MGB, 80s Nissan sports car.
I understand period pieces needing period correct cars but these ones are not that.

Trump has 100% approval rating among those that approve of him.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social I resemble that remark (speaking as a boomer with compromised hearing.. my dad who is 99 has even more compromised hearing even more).
As always Trump is ill informed, stupid or lying.
So... completed and filed income tax for my wife and I (and my father) for another year.
I hate the preparation and process even more than the payment itself.

I took accordion lessons as a kid - hated it. A relatively unusual jazz instrument.
Sdf mastodon is getting near impossible to use. At random times just goes away for unknown reasons or is in "maintainence mode" or get "rate limited message" just tying to scroll and read messages.
I know they are apologizing and asking for patience but patience is wearing thin.

This will piss US citizens off. The type of American citizen that travels and needs a passport in my experience is definitely not MAGA or Trumpist.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social I'm pretty sure it's true but it doesn't work for most locations. You need a cold climate and way to distribute the heat.

No doubt it is somewhat transformative like a few other technologies I have seen in my lifetime and will have profound effect on a number of niche industries. In mainstream tech the big winners will be companies like Google and Microsoft that have existing technologies and markets to embed it in.
