Nice!
I wonder if a continuous transformation is possible for spherical tilings. Maybe something with sliding, extending arcs & cables. Not sure if there's a length-invariant to be found for the cables though.

So, google-chrome is sneakily downloading a >2.5GB local-AI model over my tethered-over-mobile wifi connection without showing up in its task manager.
If the connection gets disrupted (because, you know, it's a tethered connection,) it starts all over again. 🙁

@gsuberland @dngrs the breadboard was just a test :-) The MOSFET based circuit was on alu PCB. I think I looked for a gate driver at the time, but found none that wouldn't blow up my budget :-P

@gsuberland @dngrs somewhat proud of my 16 bit Padauk led drivers :-) https://github.com/brainsmoke/softpwmpdk (this video shows 1/256th of the range)

@gsuberland @dngrs I don't have traces atm. Driving LEDs directly the LEDs light up with values [1..16] (1 cycle, ditherning), but when I use them with mosfets ( https://github.com/brainsmoke/aluball ) it needs 2 clock cycles (@8MHz) to turn them on. The newer padauks reportedly have stronger drive-strength though.

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social As I see it, the xbox controller was the most sensible engineering choice made on that sub. Few pieces of technology in history have been more battle tested than a platform game controller.
