How Your Parents Ruined Driving
I'm always astounded by how bad Facebook recommended posts are. Yes I interact with local council members' posts, no I don't care about a council member's post from a city in another state. Yes I interact with the local bookshop's posts, no I don't care about another small bookshop 5 states away. Yes I interact with local bike/ped posts/news, no I don't need to see an announcement for a new bike lane in some town in Michigan

After more than a year using Linux as my daily driver, I’m always blown away when I get onto my work MacBook at how bad random things are. Like window management or even worse the Desktops/Spaces thing. Some of the stuff isn’t even surfaced in Shortcuts/AppleScript so there’s no easy way to deal with it. I hear I need to try Raycast but I can’t believe how bad some basic things are.
Wondering if I could spin up a Discourse site for my neighborhood/neighborhood association. We currently have a website that is rarely used/updated and a facebook group that works but has a bunch of issues and generally just kinda sucks as a "community platform"

Switched my main browser on iOS to Quiche Browser and it’s soooo nice. First just being able to go back to a non-liquid glass interface is huge. Customizing the toolbar to have a JS kill button is also great. Built in ad blocker has been solid. It’s just generally much more snappy as well. Highly recommend. #iOS

@fpsvogel nope. I have Metronet and since they were acquired by t mobile I just asked about one promotion ($70/ month for 2 gig with a 10 year price lock) but it ended back in February. She said they have another for $80 without the price lock, but they run it pretty regularly so I can just call back if it creeps back up. Got a technician coming out tomorrow to check if I have the tech for 2 gig or they will install it.

Currently working on the heatmap. I've got it working, but I'm not really sure it has much value. May need to tweak settings like giving more weight to crashes where multiple people were injured or hit and runs.

Brought my usb headset back to life using a left over YC8 Connector from my mechanical keyboard hyper fixation kick. Do I now have a metal connector dangling at my shoulder? Yes. Does it save my from buying a new headset? Also yes.
