why… is my ~5-years-old article #1 on hackernews?
Godspeed, a11y.info 🫡
For 15½ years, Cupcake was the light of my family’s house.
Last night, while saying goodbye, we all reminisced about one of our earliest memories of her, when she’d shredded a roll of toilet paper and strewn it all over the dining room. She hasn’t done that in years, but as if to reminisce with us, she went and demolished a roll of toilet paper when weren’t looking, and it was like she was a puppy again.

Have you heard “We don’t support mobile” recently? Or any devs/designers forgetting, ignoring, or resisting responsive design?
Replying to
@stephaniewalter@front-end.social Absolutely this. I think people have this one-to-one association in their heads between responsive design and mobile support, and that leads to poor zooming support.
At my last role, I attended accessibility office hours regularly, and the number of teams that came in trying to get their reflow bugs dismissed because “we don't support mobile” was unreal.
