One of my plants in the sunlight, pastels on black paper.

I ended up getting a box of pastels for myself and also various papers with colours or bigger/finer grains. I think I don't like some much when the grain is too big like here, also painting on black is weird, and I'm not very happy about the result. I tried to not overthink it and stopped early before I make a bigger mess.

Full moon during a foggy night. Carrés Conté on black paper.

I flipped the black paper over and it has a finer grain on the other side.

This is a scene I saw by my window when I was visiting my family in the coutryside a few days ago. I took a picture but it doesn't look great from a phone camera (my phone is not very good at capturing nice lighting like a sunset, the photos are always disappointing compared to what you see yourself)

Hello #FediHire, I'm looking for a new Software Developer to join my team at Dalton Maag.

There's a full job description PDF on our website here: https://www.daltonmaag.com/about/careers.html

We're a small team (5 people) with a support role for all other aspects of the design studio: we build and maintain tools for designers and account managers, we develop our public website's frontend and sales backend, and we use and contribute to open-source tooling around font technology.

The job can be remote, for example I'm managing the London team from Paris.

Then I thought I need a drink and made a Red Snapper (sort of), which is like a bloody mary but with gin.

Pastels on white paper with slightly finer grain but still quite grainy.

@EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu hello, and thanks for the regular updates on your work. What is the EU currently doing to prevent Google from locking down Android devices? See this website for more info: https://keepandroidopen.org/en/

As I believe it's an urgent issue that concerns both EU consumers individually, but also EU tech sovereignty as a whole, I hope it has your attention. And so, I would be happy to read an update on your planned regulatory response to prevent this abuse of Google's monopoly position. Thanks in advance!
